Thankful to live in lovely and lively Boulder, where it is so easy for us to get downtown to enjoy the season's beauty and fun.
Thankful for my kind and thoughtful husband, who is always looking for a way to be helpful. When we woke to four inches of snow this morning one of his first thoughts was to clear off my car so I could get to the gym to meet my trainer on time.
Thankful for the opportunities I have to offer help occasionally and the joy it brings me. The other day I answered the call to help get two little Venezuelan newcomers to their doctor's appointment. How they screamed when the doctor had to get a blood sample from each of them! But once the trauma of it was over they calmed down and found something fun to move on to. Such a good lesson for me!
And thankful for the joy that Turbo brings to our lives. Had to laugh when I caught him gleefully ripping up his toys a few minutes ago. I could almost hear him think, "So I made a mess; what else can I do on such a snowy day?"
Wishing everyone the spirit of gratitude!
