Do not let these photos fool you into thinking we had a crisp fall day. It was unseasonably warm with gray skies that threatened rain all day until about 4:00 when a thunderstorm finally brought some cool breezes. The forecast had caused us to postpone Paul's annual Halloween party, which features a lot of outdoor activities including a campfire, so we were a bit at loose ends. Ben and Paul raked leaves, I sewed on Paul's wizard cloak, we cleaned house, did the wash and otherwise got things in order so we can enjoy being out and about in tomorrow's sunshine.
