This week.........

.....At school we are counting down to 100 Days of Reading on May 4th using a terrific "countdown" bulletin board made by our creative Library Aide. Each day a student decorates and initials the next number in the countdown. There are three doing this in the above photo because we had to get caught up after the weekend. Students are also invited to write the name of a book or book series that they particularly like. It's fun to see their artwork and their book ideas.

..... The first daffodils opened in our unseasonably warm weather.

....Venus, Jupiter, and the moon were beautifully displayed in the early evening sky. I kept trying to take decent photos, but this is the best I could do.
