It's been cool the past few mornings, a good time to get some much needed gardening done. I love spending a hour or so working in the yard in the morning, getting good and dirty before jumping in the shower and getting ready for the rest of the day.
My goal has been to prune out, edge, and mulch the beds that I can see from the porch. Ben cut down a big bush over the weekend, which opened up the view across the pasture. It's amazing how pruning can change a view.
I do love to sit on our deck and look out and see a well-kept yard, even if it is fleeting. Mother Nature has her eye on this property and is always wanting to have her own way with it!
