What a nice surprise tonight when Paul came home from karate with his last green belt stripe!
He's had the first four for a while now, but this last one -- the fighting stripe -- has been murder. You can't earn a fighting stripe except by fighting, and Paul has been fighting in karate class every chance he can get. "Hang in there!" we told him, "You'll get it if you keep practicing." And he did.
Next up: Blue belt exam.
