It was pretty out at 6:15 this morning when Paul and I left to drive over to Virginia for his appointment with the orthodontist. It was surprisingly warm and a beautiful full moon provided a cozy bit of light.
It wasn't quite so beautiful when they got Paul back in the chair to rewire his braces. I don't usually go back where the work is done. I usually sit out in the waiting room blissfully unaware of exactly what is happening behind the walls. But this time I did go back, and walked right into this scary sight!
Afterwards he reported that his teeth hurt. I bet they did. I don't know how kids stand it. But I was glad that it didn't stop him from enjoying breakfast at the City Diner on the way home.
