We're having our super neighbors over tonight to enjoy The Red Hen rigatonii, made with sausage and fennel. The President and Jill Biden ordered it at a recent visit to The Red Hen Restaurant and created a stir when they each ordered their own plateful. The Washington Post did an article about it which led us to try it and we loved it. Not only is it delicious but it's easy to make-ahead, so it's perfect for company.
Ben is the chef tonight and I'm just hanging around lending a hand and smelling all the good scents wafting up from the stove. Hmmm......!
