For the Cub Scout Blue and Gold dinner we bought a helium balloon tank from Michael's to blow up helium balloons and decorate the dinner hall. The helium ran out well before all the balloons were filled, leaving many unfilled balloons. An unnamed Dad at the dinner taught Paul how to blow up and tie balloons the old-fashioned way, and so after he got home Paul blew up all the remaining balloons. He filled his bedroom with them and told Ben that it was "Balloon Heaven."
I hope that the real heaven holds a place for all the unnamed people who teach our children and have such small but powerful influences in their lives.
