When I pulled up all the tall straggly flowers along the driveway to plant tidy little chrysanthemums for the fall, I found a majestic cleome which had been hidden among the other flowers. Now that it's uncovered, it's standing proud! It reminds me of a sequoia cactus and makes me smile whenever I see it.
