A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

I took four boys to the pumpkin patch today and we loaded up two wagons full of beautiful pumpkins, most picked right off the vine in the field.


Having accomplished our mission, the boys went through the corn maze, threw kernels of field corn at to the goats, admired the pretty chickens, and, mostly, ran around playing "hide" and "sneak up" games with each other.

After a few efforts, I did manage to corral them for the obligatory group photo.

Can you tell from these photos what a gorgeous day it was? We've been having perfect weather for this three-day weekend. Great days to be outdoors!
