Photographer

Part of my job at school is to photograph various school events, contributing to the pool of photos that are used for the yearbook, fund raising, and school publicity.

Last week I was tickled to see that one of my photographs of the winter concert was published in the local paper in its "School Notes" section! I had to wait until the holiday break was over and we were back to school to get a copy of the photo to include here.

Isn't this a striking photograph? I was greatly aided by not only cute students, but a camera that takes great low light pictures (Canon G11) and a super photo editing software (Microsoft Picture Editor). Still, I admit to being very pleased with myself!
