....consult with the workmen and admire your cat's ability to maneuverer around the construction;
...visit your Mom in the rehab facility, take her to the doctor's, and go to Wendy's for a hamburger lunch (a big treat if you're in a rehab facility!);
...give her a big hug and kiss, promise you'll be safe while you're away, and then wave goodbye;
...go by a friend's house to take them up on their offer of fresh organic spinach from their garden (probably the last organic veggies you'll eat for the next ten days);
...and finally get home to pack, clean up, and do all the things that need to be done before you head out tomorrow morning.Yes, getting ready for a big trip is hard work, but I'm not complaining. This time tomorrow Ben, Paul, and I should be exploring Coconut Grove in Miami before flying off to Turks & Caicos Sunday morning for a week of sun and snorkeling.
We're taking the MacBook Air and hope to do some blogging while we're away, so stay tuned!
