Kids Night Out

How do you keep kids amused at a "slow food" restaurant? Clever Chris, our fabulous waitress at Matchbox on Capitol Hill Monday night, brought out little round pizza dough balls which proved to be highly entertaining.

Later Ben took all the kids down the street to Ted's Bulletin for what I'm sure they considered the main event of the evening, yummy milkshakes.


These Marines standing guard outside the Marine Barracks probably enjoyed having the children stop by for a minute. Those rifles seem a bit out of place, don't they?
