The buying of new school shoes and uniforms for Paul is one of the main symbols that summer is almost over. Although we're preparing for school, we're also enjoying these final days of freedom from school schedules and demands. Paul's friend, Bryan, has come down from Pennsylvania to visit for a few days, adding an extra element of fun to the last days of summer.
