Better Late Than Never: St. Patrick's Day Report

We live about six blocks from the University of Colorado Boulder and often walk over to the campus just for fun or to attend a specific event.  On St. Patrick's Day afternoon we headed over that way to see what was going on.  It was late afternoon but we found that the party was in full swing.

Large groups of students were gathering for some St. Pat's Day fun and games.  We enjoyed seeing their green costumes and outfits.  We didn't enjoy all the loud music so much but it did certainly added to the festive atmosphere.

We were surprised to see a police car and an ambulance at the ready.

But then we saw people playing beer pong up on a roof with no railings and thought maybe that was the reason.   Crazy kids!

There was more rooftop activity to catch the eye, such as this gang of three semi-dressed students hanging out in the sun.   Seems like college kids like roofs!

As you might imagine, the restaurants and bars were jumping.

After a while we headed home to our own little party with Ray and Paula, complete with Irish tacos and a fabulous cocktail called the Tipperary made with Irish Whiskey and Green Chartreuse.
