Goodbye February!

Goodbye, February; I'm glad to see you go!

Since Thanksgiving the trails and sidewalks around here have been snow and ice covered as we've had one snowstorm after another.   It was pretty but it got old.

February was also when Turbo got neutered which, thankfully, turned out to be no big deal in terms of his recovery but we had to keep him "calm" so his stitches could heal.  This was no easy task especially since he wanted to play in all that lovely snow.

And I've had a bad cold for the past month, complete with lots of coughing which about drove me and everyone around me crazy.  I finally went to Urgent Care last Monday and got some antibiotics and I think I'm on the mend.

So it was one of those months you just get through.  It was nice to think about about our lovely vacation in Maui.

But now it's March and the snow has almost melted.  When I went out on the patio with Turbo yesterday morning I was pleased to see that the snow was gone from one of the chairs and I promptly moved it into the bright sunshine so I could sit a bit and remember that yes, spring will be here soon.

Later we went to the dog park and there was no snow on the ground at all; yippee!  Do you see the snow covered peaks in the backround?  All the snow is making for a super skiing season and making the mountains look especially pretty.

Tonight we're supposed to get 1-3" but it'll all melt soon enough as we have pleasant weather in store for the next week.

Hello. March!  I'm so glad to see you.

  1. Hello Mary, beautiful snaps! Especially the one in which Turbo was looking forward to playing in the snow with you. He is so adorable. So sad that he has to go through the pain, but no worries, you are there by his side anyways. Hope you get well soon from your cold, take care!
