I'm back from a great visit to another world, one of red rocks, dry air, wildflowers, and majestic mountains. If that wasn't enough to make it seem like a dream, it was also a world fee of domestic chores, daily work, and the challenges of motherhood. What a treat!
But as all respites should, this one left me happy to be back in my own world, even though it currently includes high humidity and lots of rain, and energized for the tasks ahead, even though they include such fun things as weeding the non-fiction books at my school library, painting the entryway and hallway, and getting ready for both Paul's birthday party and our car trip to New England.
It was good to get away, and so good to spend time with my sister, Jean, and our friend, Janice, but it's also nice to be back home and ready for action!
