The Last Day of School

The desks have been stacked up.


The textbooks have been collected.



The parents have celebrated their children's success...


...and taken the last school pictures for the year.

The staff have waved goodbye, whispering to each other, just as they did the on the first day of school, that "This is the best day of the year."


And now the school is empty.

There's something both sad and happy about the last day of school.
