Look at the door prize I won! A pretty little Norfolk Pine, just right to set on a table and decorate for Christmas. Thank you Greenstreet Gardens! This would be enough Christmas tree for me, but since we have an excited eleven-year-old in the house, we'll be bringing a fresh cut fir back from Pennsylvania tomorrow. We're making a quick trip up to the Lancaster area to visit with friends, and there are several cut-your-own places along the the way.
Actually, I'm excited, too. I love to hunt the perfect tree and I love having a lovely lit one in the house. It's just that long stretch involving decorating it that I'm not crazy about. But the results are wonderful.
