Crunchy

It's crunchy outside today. We had a minor snowfall last night followed by some sleet which added a shiny crunchy topping to the pretty white snow. Since the freezing rain is predicted on and off throughout the day and the roads are slick, most activities are canceled, though Ben and I hope things clear up enough that we can keep our dinner plans with friends tonight.

Meanwhile, we have a good supply of wood to keep a cozy fire going and are enjoying the lovely views of the pond and the slower pace of the day.
