Spring Break!

Spring Break starts today at 12:20!!!   The excitement level is heating up as my household begins to dig out the luggage, hunt up the snorkeling gear, and find the shorts and tee-shirts.  We are off to the Virgin Islands early tomorrow morning!

Will the Easter Bunny find us in St. John?  He didn't manage to find us on the other trips we've made over spring break, but I happen to have it on good authority that he will this year.  For one thing, there's a secret bag of chocolates and treats ready to go in my suitcase.  For another thing, Ben gave me this super-cute rabbit this morning, and I don't think I can bear to leave him behind.  

So bunny is coming but Spikey is staying home in the capable hands of our house-sitter.  He appears to be a bit miffed about it, don't you think?

Or maybe he's just doing the splits? 

I took this picture last night when I was running a few minutes late to pick up Paul.  I thought he'd be fretting, but no, he was calmly and happily showing his friend something about a game on his iTouch. 

I sat in the car for several minutes just watching him.  I sure love that boy!
