October 26: Almost Ready!

Spent the last day or two on the final tasks in preparation for our trip to Hawaii.  A hard frost is expected while we’re away, so it was time to say goodbye to our beautiful geraniums 

And a batch of fabrics I had recently Indigo-dyed, turning them from boring white to interesting patterns of blue and white, needed to be pressed and folded up to store until needed for a sewing project. 

And most importantly, we voted in our local city, county and state elections.  The issues were tricky to decide about but the actual process of voting was easy as pie.  Just drop your ballot off in the secure ballot box and you’re done!  Thank you Colorado!

Now off to the Big Island for some fun!
