Finally! Snow! Our area only averages 15 inches of snow each year, and last year we only got 5 inches, so the arrival of snow---even a sparse 2 or 3 inches -- was greeted with great delight.School was let out two hours early, which left plenty of time for sledding.
As so often happens in our area, however, our little snow cover will soon be ruined by the "wintry mix" of ice and rain which is expected tonight and early tomorrow morning.

ReplyDeleteNo, the kids are not sledding down to the pond. The sled hill is across the street. Kinda spooky nonetheless, eh ?
