The painting is done, the floor is down, and the cabinets are here!
And, miracles of miracles, everything we ordered -- from new sink to cabinet knobs to backsplash tile to new fridge to new window -- appears to be arriving on time. Dare I even put that in writing?
If everything does arrive on time, we should have all the cabinets in, the stove hooked back up, the new fridge installed, the new window in place, and the use of a temporary sink and a bit of counter top by early next week.
Then we take a breather --no workers here at 7:00 a.m. -- while the counter tops are made. Then there's a final push to put them in along with the new sink and back splash, and we're done!
Mary good luck to you too! This may even be more stressful than my renovations, because at least I do have a kitchen! Looks like it will be really nice though.
