When we planned the new kitchen, we talked about installing speakers wired from the dining room stereo system. Ben said "For two cents, I'd just buy another Bose CD Player/Radio." When I had retired, we bought one for my sewing room and I've loved it. Small but mighty, it puts out a fantastic sound without all the trouble of wiring up speakers. But at $500, it would add a bit of extra expense to our already hefty kitchen rehab expenses.
The about two weeks ago I had a brainstorm: why not move the Bose player to the kitchen? After all, I had a TV/DVD/Video player up in the sewing room, and a CD player right next door in Paul's room. What more did I need? So I brought it downstairs and tucked it on top of the microwave and we've been in seventh heaven ever since.
