Today was a perfect day. We had perfect weather....low humidity, warm but not hot temperatures, and just the right amount of breeze. In the morning we found another fledgling, this time of what we think was a red-wing black bird in the pond near our house.
Then we found a turtle on the path to the boat house at Quiet Waters park, where we went kayaking. Paul gently moved him across the path to a safe spot under a tree.
The water was beautiful.
When Paul "fell in" he had a great time.
We went fishing, saw lots of dogs and lots of boats, and a nice person took our picture on the South River overlook.
We bought home lobsters from the Annapolis Seafood Market to eat on the porch as the sun was setting and a half moon began to shine through the treetops.
And just before bedtime Paul looked in his set of plastic drawers on the porch which hold his outside toys and found that some industrious birds had build a nest which contained two tiny eggs. A magical ending to a perfect day.
