Paul started fourth grade today. Next year he'll move to my campus, where the Middle School houses grades 5-8, but this year he is finally a "big kid" on his campus, one of the confident and capable fourth graders. This status already seems to be making an impression on him. He started the morning by putting name labels on all his supplies (which I'd forgotten to do) and ended it by getting his homework done without much prodding or oversight from me. I'm crossing my fingers that this burst of maturity will continue!
