An Appreciative Audience

There were six kids playing in the house and yard after school for a couple of hours today so I made a batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies and served them up warm from the oven with glasses of milk and water. To say this treat was a hit would be an understatement. One child even told me "I think I've died and gone to heaven!" They were mighty good cookies; the regular Toll House recipe but using melted butter, more vanilla, a couple of tablespoons of milk and some extra flour as described on this web site.
