After homework yesterday, Paul and I drew some space aliens and ships from a "How to Draw" book he brought home from the school library time. Having "Family Drawing Time" is an idea I got from Amanda
Soule's book
The Creative Family. I know; it's pitiful that I couldn't think this up by myself, but before I read Amanda's book I'd do something else --something "useful"-- when Paul wanted to draw. Now I work side by side with him. We each concentrate on our drawing, doing our own thing but doing it quietly together. It's amazing how relaxing and cozy this time together is.
