For the most part, we're snuggled in our cozy house while a record-making snowstorm covers our area with a foot or more of beautiful, ice-free (so far!) snow. But earlier this morning, when the snow measured only six inches, we all ventured out to fill the bird feeders, do some shoveling and enjoy the surreal experience of seeing the road at the end of our long driveway all white and empty. This is Paul's first really big snowstorm, and he pronounced it a "pretty good blizzard."
When we came back inside, the home made cinnamon rolls were ready to eat.
