Colorado: Kate's Wedding

The main reason we went to Colorado was to see Kate get married. She is the daughter of our old dear friends, Ray and Paula, and we've known her since she was born. I have particularly fond memories of enjoying Kate's company during the time we were in Colorado when Paul was born, waiting to take him home. There was a hold-up with the adoption paperwork and the expected one-week stay in Boulder turned into two, and then into three weeks, while Colorado and Maryland did what they had to do to make sure all the legalities had been covered. Kate made the time pass quickly by keeping us company as we went for hikes and by introducing me to the fun of tubing in Boulder Creek.


It's hard to believe that she is all grown up, but that's the way it happens!
