Saturday was also pretty, though much cooler. We had Ben's family over for dinner, along with seven kids (family and friends) who ran around like crazy for hours outside, enjoying the hint of spring in the air, stopping only share pizza out on the front porch.
Before the big party Ben and I went for a nice walk in the park across the street, while Paul practiced his new scooter trick.
The weekend brought better news about my Mom. The doctors finished running tests and procedures on her, came up with a diagnosis, and made a plan for getting her in shape to leave the hospital. Yesterday she had the first "good" day in weeks, which lifted my spirits enormously. We'll see how things go. Meanwhile, she enjoyed the first daffodils of the season, which we placed on her window sill.
