My mother, Margaret Ison, died this morning, very peacefully in her beloved home.A little more than a year ago she felt well enough to not only attend Paul's birthday party at our local pool, but to make and decorate his birthday cake. That was a good day, but it was followed by a difficult year.
Now that all our "doing" to help her is about done, it's going to be hard just sitting still and getting used to the fact that she's not with us anymore.
The last two nights we've had the most dramatic sunsets. As I drove to my Mom's on Thursday night, I had to stop and take these pictures, the sky was so amazing.
