His classes are in a different wing from the school library where I'm based, so he won't be popping in and out of my office during the day to say hello or give me a hug. I'm going to miss that.
But he's his own kid now and doesn't need me around so much, so it's time to loosen the cords. (I say with a little sniffle!)
