It seemed like a good idea to burn the bags of old receipts, bills, and other financial records we had stored in shopping bags down in the basement, but boy, did it take a long time to feed the papers to the fire. Finally, we had the idea of just putting the whole bag in the fire pit. Now, that was exciting!
Today Paul saw me taking a bag of compost out to the compost pile and asked hopefully, "Are we going to burn more bags today" Sorry, guy.
