Can We Slow Down, Now?

No, we can't slow down just yet. As I keep telling Paul, school isn't over until June 3 and we both have to keep up the good work until then. But after that we're putting the brakes on!

The first week of summer break is going to be a time to slow down. I've promised myself that I'll stay home until at least noon every day. When we do leave the house, it will be in a leisurely, calm manner, unlike the increasingly chaotic whirlwind of activity which now marks our getting off to school each morning. And -- oh, this will be especially wonderful -- I'm going to take at least thirty minutes each day to drink my iced coffee out on the porch while reading the newspaper and watching the birds.

But meanwhile, the race to the finish is still on!
