Almost Ready

We're almost ready for Paul's big Halloween party tomorrow. The weather has been very cooperative, allowing us to do quite a bit of decorating, unlike last year when it rained right up to a few hours before the party started.

I especially like how the windows on the shed look at night; pretty scary, hm? It'll be even scarier tomorrow when I put out the spooky music and hook up the fog machine!

Our annual Halloween party is mostly outdoors, featuring activities that ten-year old boys like best, like shooting Nerf guns at ghosts and walking through spooky wooded paths with just their flashlights to protect them. The adults like being outdoors, too, on a pretty moon-lite night like we'll have tomorrow, hunkered around the fire ring eating pizza and drinking beer. It should be a good time!
