Around here we're ....

... enjoying lettuce and a few green onions from our garden;

...doing the final planning for several trips this summer (Boston, France, Colorado);

...trying to identify this interesting looking toad that is hanging round our deck. (Eastern Narrowmouth Toad?);

...starting the busy push to finish up school in the next five weeks; summer is coming!;

... reading good books. I finished Sarah Weeks' book Pie, a simple but good children's mystery with a pie theme, and returned to reading Laura Hillenbrand's Unbroken, an adult book I dip back into when I'm in between children's book;

...happy that our team won the Trivia game last night;

...suddenly realizing that Spikey is growing up to be a "large, heavy, male" lizard --He's going to be a big guy!;


...looking forward to getting two big holes in the living room ceiling repaired this week (caused by a big water leak when the upstairs bathroom towel heater/radiator pulled away from the wall; it's always something!);

... getting lots of outside work done, but also getting plenty of relaxing time in as well.
