We had a relaxing evening Thursday at the Inn at Vaucluse Spring in Stephens City, Virginia, before picking up Paul from karate camp at Front Royal. The Inn was a great combination of cozy and elegant, as well as quiet and interesting. Dinner was served at the main building, so we didn't have to leave the grounds once we arrived, which was so nice. And after dinner we had a lovely swim in the pool before settling in for the night.
Paul had a great time at camp, announcing before we even got in the car that he wants to go back again next year.
Then we headed home to do Paul's wash and repack for our trip to Colorado today. We're looking forward to seeing our good friends out there and catching up with Paul's birth family. It should be a fun few days!
